At a stage in life when many people begin to expect limitations, Asbury works to create opportunities. At Asbury, we don’t just ask, “Why?” We ask, “What if and why not?”
We have long enjoyed an exceptional reputation among our peers.
We accomplish this through rigorous accreditations; strong resident, provider, and payor satisfaction; high star ratings; and the person-centered principles of Planetree.
With a focus on the future of aging services and an emphasis on technology, innovative programming, and careful stewardship of resources, we are addressing the needs of tomorrow’s seniors.
Walk through one of our community’s doors and feel the difference – residents and associates working together to create meaning, joy, and support.
Every Asbury community is different because each bears the stamp of the people whose experiences, desires, and needs help drive the culture, programs, and services within. Yet … at the heart of every campus is this pledge – that at Asbury, you can anticipate more.
Asbury’s multi-dimensional wellness programs are second to none. The sense of purpose our team members bring to their communities translates into programming that informs every aspect of resident life and every stage along the continuum. We invite you to take a look at a few examples.
Asbury’s Clinical Quality Team provides quality, health informatics, and compliance support for the Asbury System of Communities, fostering continual improvement in health care services and working closely with risk management. EHRs, clinical dashboards, experienced, dedicated professionals, and Asbury’s Planetree commitment combine to create a person-centered, innovative culture.
In 2012, Asbury consolidated its on-campus home care and home health services into Asbury Home Services. Since then, our system-wide census has grown to more than 1,000 residents and off-campus clients, while the business has grown by more than 500% percent. This growth includes a partnership with Interim HealthCare in our Maryland markets.
Through the development of key partnerships, Asbury continues to gain fresh perspectives and opportunities.
During Older Americans Month 2017, Asbury residents helped challenge ageism through the What’s Age Got to Do With It social media campaign, spreading our Vision of redefining the expectations of aging to more than one million people. For this, Asbury won a 2017 national PR Daily Nonprofit Award and a 2018 EAGLE Innovation Award from the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries.
