Development & Recognition

We're A Great Place to Work Organization

For the second year in a row, Asbury Communities has earned Great Place to Work certification, an honor based on associate feedback related to how highly they trust the organization to create a best-in-class workplace and honor Asbury's Mission.

In 2019, more than 86 percent of our associates completed the Great Place to Work survey. Red e Communication

In 2017, Asbury rolled out Red e App, a cell phone-based platform that revolutionized our ability to communicate with the majority of our associates who do not have Asbury email or are not routinely in front of their computers.

Since then, more than 60 percent of our associates have downloaded the app and have sent more than 350,000 secure, work-related messages. Readership of app messages is 20 percent higher than those of email - and have significantly increased our response rate in our annual associate survey.

Investing in Leadership

Held several times each year, Leadership Asbury gathers new leaders from across the system to learn more about Asbury and the support services it provides, to meet the senior leadership team and discuss our organizational goals.

Asbury’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is an annual, two-day, system-wide retreat for top leaders and is an important component of our workforce development strategy. LDI creates alignment among Asbury’s leaders, encourages networking, recognizes outstanding achievements through our Azzy Awards program and the Edwin C. Thomas III Award, and continues our development as leaders.
