Employer of Choice

Each day, Asbury’s Mission plays out in thousands of interactions between our associates and the people they serve. New residents routinely point to the warmth and family feel of our communities as a key reason they chose us. This is not an accident.

We are committed to being the employer of choice in each of our markets, building programs and procedures that foster accountability, build trust, and attract those seeking a higher purpose.

In Asbury’s 2017 Associate Survey, 90 percent of respondents answered positively to the statement: “I have the opportunity to impact someone’s life for the better every day at work.”

It is not uncommon to find several generations of the same family working for Asbury. We provide the benefits, culture, and development to attract and retain top talent. See why we're A Great Place to Work.

Our commitment to being an accountable, innovative, and transparent organization is apparent the moment you step into the new Asbury Support & Collaboration Center. Designed to encourage face-to-face interactions with open workspaces and plenty of tech-enabled meeting rooms, ASCC sets the tone for our workforce philosophy.

Development & Recognition

Red e Communication

In 2017, Asbury rolled out Red e App, a cell phone-based platform that revolutionized our ability to communicate with the majority of our associates who do not have Asbury email or are not routinely in front of their computers.

Since then, nearly 1,200 associates have downloaded the app and have sent more than 10,000 secure, work-related messages. Readership of app messages is close to double those of email.

Investing in Leadership

Ldi Group

Held several times each year, Leadership Asbury gathers new leaders from across the system to learn more about Asbury and the support services it provides, to meet the senior leadership team and discuss our organizational goals.

Asbury’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is an annual, two-day, system-wide retreat for top leaders and is an important component of our workforce development strategy. LDI creates alignment among Asbury’s leaders, encourages networking, recognizes outstanding achievements, and continues our development as leaders.
